Custom Rubber Products

Customer-specified rubber parts developed from a drawing, a sample or an application requirement — from prototype through to series production.

Overview

Custom development covers the full route: requirement review, compound selection, tooling, sample submission, approval and production. Where no drawing exists, an existing sample can be measured and re-engineered.

Development is driven by the working condition of the part: temperature, medium, pressure, load, movement, service life and fitment.

Product range

Applications

  • Replacement of an imported or obsolete part
  • New component development for a new assembly
  • Re-engineering an existing part for improved service life
  • Low-volume and prototype requirements

Common questions

What do you need to start a custom development?
A drawing or sample, the application, the working conditions the part must handle, and an indication of quantity.
Can you work from an old worn-out part?
Usually yes — provided enough of the original geometry remains to measure, or a fitment reference is available.
